A graduate of Iowa Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Mr. Bruce has spent his life helping individuals overcome adversity and thrive—personally, spiritually, and economically.

His impact is both profound and far-reaching. As the recipient of the prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, Bruce has mentored and inspired over 500,000 youth through speaking engagements, community programs, and one-on-one mentorship. His work is grounded in real-life experiences and data-driven insights, enabling him to connect deeply with those he serves.

He is also the visionary behind the Solid Foundation Certification, a pioneering human development model focused on building what he calls “the most important capital in the world—the human being.” This proprietary framework is built on eight foundational “legs”:

  1. Self-Efficacy

  2. Value of a Life

  3. Entrepreneurship

  4. Environmental Trauma Extraction

  5. Civic Engagement

  6. Merchandising

  7. Conflict Resolution & Consequences

  8. Financial Literacy

Bruce’s commitment to servant leadership is evident in every facet of his work. Whether mentoring a young man in crisis, guiding a father toward healing, or equipping community leaders with tools for sustainable change, his mission remains the same: to elevate people, unlock purpose, and transform lives.
